Door sticks when I try to close it?
1. A common problem with easy fix, over time your down may drop at one corner a little, it then can hit on the lock plate underneath unit, stopping door closing. The doors have a top and bottom hinge, both are adjustable, so you can play with the door to get it to align again, or simply force (bend) the door locking plate a 'little' downwards to allow door to close.
Led Light Is Not Working?
1. The Led Strip lights are designed to last over 100,000hrs, so it's very rare that these fail. If your lights are not working, it is more than likely the transformer that runs the lights. First check light switch of course and then check the small DIN plug connections where light connects at top section of inner door.
Led Lights Have Failed?
1. Unit has a small led in the upper roof, controlled by the light switch located either at rear of unit or inside. If the switch is ON and the Led isn't operational a new Led will be required.
Interior of the unit is icing up?
1. Inner fan has failed will cause ice to build up rapidly.
2. High humidity in the air can cause excess ice and more water in self-evaporating drip tray to disperse.
3. Could have small gas leak, this may show a lot of ice at one corner of the cold plate in fridge.
Unit has become noisy?
1. Check inner fan, if a bearing has gone it can be quite a loud noise.
2. Otherwise, compressor could be cause, check unit is balanced and that compressor bolts that secure it haven't come loose. An unlevel compressor can also cause clunking noises on start-up and shut down etc.
Unit has stopped cooling or is not cooling enough?
1. Check ventilation around the fridge. You need approximately 20mm at sides and top with 100mm at the rear.
2. The unit cannot have another ‘door’ in front of the fridge door, this is incorrect installation and voids warranty.
3. The unit must be 100% away from sunlight and out of the weather, this is incorrect installation and voids warranty.
4. Check compressor definitely comes ON.
5. Check thermostat setting. 5/MAX is the coldest.
